Project Description

paul guido

Paul Guido spent many of his winter months in true Northern California drawing surreal plant life and landscapes and reading and writing stories. Over the next decade and a half he spent more time on music than writing stories and his drawings ceased all together until the winter of 2005, when a severe climbing accident left him largely immobile and, in his downtime, he started drawing again. The subjects of these new drawings were of community, family and love expressed through the forms of human-like botanicals.

Paul’s work will be featured at the Rare Bird on Thursday, January 19 2012.
