diana lovett

A student of music, art, textile, fiber, and metal, Diana brings an unusual set of skills to her jewelry making. Using techniques such as Kuem Boo, a Korean process of fusing 24-karat gold foil to silver, Diana creates stunning jewelry that references the many facets of nature, from its seasons and textures to natural formations and finishes.

These influences are expressed in her jewelry as impressions or textures of leaves, wire, metal or crumpled paper that Diana embosses on metal through a rolling mill. Art is a spiritual pursuit for her, and she calls on the ideas of many religions and cultures, past and present, to create each piece.
