Erin Crawford is a self-taught painter from the East Bay who has been painting since 2002. She is deeply influenced by street art and graffiti, as well as music, dance, and nature. Using acrylic paints on canvas or wood, Erin paints a cast of evolving characters in various stages of repose or movement. Over the last decade, she has shown in numerous group and solo art shows throughout the Bay Area. She also takes to the streets, vending at art fairs in an attempt to expose the world to her art—as well as to continually witness first-hand how the world receives and is affected by her creations.
